- Log daily usage and mood data
- Use Craving Mode
- Write journal entries
- Post in the community

How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Track your progress and calculate streaks
- Personalize your recovery experience
- Send you notifications and reminders (with your permission)
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the app
- Respond to your comments and questions
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Firebase, a Google Cloud service. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With your consent
- To comply with legal obligations
- With service providers who assist in operating our app, including:
- Firebase/Google Cloud (authentication, data storage)
- Mixpanel (product analytics)
- AppsFlyer (attribution analytics)
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
Analytics and Attribution
We use the following third-party services to understand how users interact with our app:
Mixpanel (Product Analytics)
We use Mixpanel to understand how users navigate and use features within the app. This helps us improve the user experience. Analytics data is anonymized and aggregated where possible.
AppsFlyer (Attribution Analytics)
We use AppsFlyer to understand how users discover and install our app (e.g., through which advertisement or referral). This helps us measure the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. AppsFlyer may collect:
- Device identifiers (see "Device Identifiers" section below)
- IP address (used to determine approximate location at country/region level)
- App install and launch timestamps
- Key conversion events (onboarding completion, subscription purchase)

Device Identifiers
To provide attribution analytics, we may collect device identifiers:
- iOS: Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) - only if you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt; Identifier for Vendors (IDFV) - always collected
- Android: Google Advertising ID (GAID)
These identifiers help us understand which marketing campaigns lead to app installs and are shared with AppsFlyer for attribution purposes.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS 14.5 and later, we request your permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites using Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If you decline this request:
- We will not access your device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA)
- Attribution analytics will use privacy-preserving methods (SKAdNetwork)
- Core app functionality remains unchanged
You can change your tracking preferences at any time in your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your data
- Opt out of marketing communications
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time through the app settings. When you delete your account, all your personal data, including daily logs, craving logs, journal entries, and community posts, will be permanently removed from our servers.
Children’s Privacy
Our app is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
